The Old Town bridge tower is often considered to be one of the most astonishing civil gothic-style buildings in the world.

The name is linked with the idea, when somebody comes for a coffee but pays for two - the second is "hanged". Later, when somebody else comes without money is asking: do you have any hanged coffee? So he is going to get it :-)

The shot was taken in a street that caught my eye, which is not a rare occasion when you walk around Prague.
It has an interesting combination of architectural styles: it had the modern, European-looking buildings, alongside a view to the river, to some Gothic-styled structures and to the wonderful red-roof tiles of Prague's skyline.

It was taken while my group and I wandered towards the Kafka museum.
We traveled to Prague to see Radiohead on their 2009 tour, and in the short time we were there we have truly come to appreciate the beauty of the city we were in.

I travelled to Prague in September 1998. I was awestruck by the architectural beauty of the Prague Metro and took a bunch of photos there. I am an American but I have had a lot of Czech friends over the years, so there were plenty of people to act as guides.
